Pitchfork Time?

Has pitchfork time arrived? We must consider two recent events that may give us a clue. 

First, that Fauci hearing before Congress. You know, the one where the doc took the fifth in answer to ever query from our esteemed congress-people. It seems the grandee of medicine who led the charge during the Covid Mess may be facing a comeuppance for some of his activities before and during. We'll leave it at that. But we wonder if that hearing will be the first and last or whether more is in store for the doc.

And with that hearing, we think we hear the muffled sound of voices raised in hope that the man many think was involved in research that led to the Mess, who garnered financial rewards when he ought not to have, who bent with the political winds to his own advantage and the disadvantage of some millions of others subjected to the draconian measures and the aftermath of the injections, will somehow face some kind of justice. 

Will this all die out, as one would suspect given what so many have gotten away with in so many areas of our government, in the corporate world, in...well, you get the point. Or will the pitchforks come out and force the issue that, this time, justice will be served. If the latter, we only hope that true justice, rather than revenge, prevails. 

Our second item involves a simmering pot of protest over the building of massive data centers close to people who understand the potential for bad stuff to happen. The bad stuff takes the form of sucking the life out of our electrical grid, causing prices to soar, even threatening to take so much juice that not enough is left for common folks, just trying to live their lives; also, the growing knowledge that, for those living nearby, health risks may ensue, and some of these severe.

And all for the sake of advancing the AI monster that has been loosed upon us, as well as the call to apparent massive profits being funneled into the hands of a select group of folks who know how to grab while the grabbing is good. 

 If you haven't caught to these growing protests, there's this to get you up to speed. It calls for the spread of protest against this massive build a "revolt": 

 

We've been tracking this revolt since it was a smattering of county fights. Earlier this month - in one day, there were 142 coordinated protests across 42 states under Tea Party veteran Amy Kremer, who declared that America is not for sale and predicted data centers on the ballot in November and again in 2028.

The prediction is aging well - and now the mainstream media is catching up, four months before midterms. Meanwhile the enforcement arm of the buildout keeps generating its own coverage - this week's example being the Kansas physics teacher jailed for clapping at a data-center hearing while the commission passed the zoning anyway.

 

So there you have it. Of course, there's more than this bubbling up. And we note that such activity - the rising up of the common man, so to speak, is not unique to our time. Will it grow and lead to some substantial change in the seemingly settled order of things? It wouldn't be the first time in history that the seed of discontent grew into something bigger and more permanent.

At the least, we suspect we haven't seen that last or these two pitchforks. 

We wonder, though, will it morph into something akin to what exploded in the 1960's. Here's something to add flavor:
