Currency War Heats Up

We haven't spoken of currency war much, but we will be. If you don't know what a "currency war" is, you need to read James Rickard's recent book, Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis. If you have, but aren't sure that we're really in the midst of one, then check out this article.

This is just a brief article concerned with South Africa's role in the new currency war that began in 2010 (according to Rickards). You can say South Africa's small potatoes, but you'll see in the article that China plays a big role. China's not small potatoes.

If you're not too sure this will affect you, think again. Part of the reason you may not be concerned is due to the fact that we here in the U.S. don't see much coverage of this growing war. It's not something that appears on the nightly news, nor is it something you read too much about in the financial news either. The media's not that interested, I suppose.

But rest assured, you need to be aware of what's going on with our current currency war. It not only will affect your life, but it is already affecting us in ways most of us simply aren't aware of.

We'll talk about it more in the future.
