A Solution to Politically Correct College Professors
"Politically correct" college professors are but one of the issues forging a greatly reduced quality of product in the higher education market these days. With rigid views guided by liberal-leftist-socialist-multi-cultural propaganda, such "educators" frequently belittle, intimidate, and/or shun all those who attempt to think independently. (Notice: I did not say "conservatives" or "right-wing". Someone who is politically correct ultimately won't tolerate you as long as you disagree with their stilted world-view, no matter what politics, religion or philosophy you happen to espouse.)
So when I came across this article, the first thought that popped into my mind was perhaps we have a workable solution to deal with such people: freeze them. Unfortunately, it seems there's no option to freeze them NOW. Apparently the process requires the person being frozen at the point of death. And then there's the issue of foisting them on future generations - although one hopes that our descendents will have turned on political correctness so that it never rears its ugly head again.
On the other hand, even if freezing won't solve our current politically-correct plague, this story does demonstrate, I think, that just because someone is "educated" (or at least what passes for "educated" these days) doesn't mean they're all that bright. Not only are the Oxford professors looking forward to centuries of languishing in liquid nitrogen, they're willing to foist this nonsense on their own children.
