Hillary Clinton Takes a Bullet To Save Obama
Hillary Clinton has taken responsibility for the lack of security that led to terrorists killing U.S. Libyan Ambassador Stephens and other embassy people. Her comments may be designed to distract attention from the scandal of the administration claiming these were not terrorist attacks, but the result of demonstrations against an anti-Muslim video gone wild. They also seem to be a crafty and calculated political move:

If there is going to be political damage for the Libyan tragedy, Mrs. Clinton may well be the most capable within the administration to withstand it.With her popularity, if she withstands this, she's well-positioned to continue her political career in the future.
With an approval rating at about 70%, she has already said she will leave as secretary of state at the end of the president's first term.
