Markets Closed Due to Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Sandy forced markets to close Monday. They remain closed today.
Here in New York, the storm was unprecedented. Public transportation remains closed as do most highways. This morning, the wind and rain continue, albeit at a much reduced level.
We're among the lucky who have not lost power. Best I can tell at this point, the storm caused no major damage to our home. Thank God.
Our prayers to out to the millions - yes, millions - who have lost power, suffered damage, lost their homes, and, in some cases, lost their lives. The devastation of this storm is beyond anything I've ever seen. We'll have to see how recovery proceeds, but it will.
Please pray for the people who are suffering, some of whom remain in danger.
