We were up late. How about you? Too late? What? Drank too much. Aw, too bad. I hope not too late and too much drink that your reason was impaired. It was? OK. Well, now it's a new year and you get to make up your mind to get your brain in shape - at least I hope you do. You're going to need it.
Just a feeling I've had, but this could be a fairly interesting year coming up. And, as you may know, the Chinese have a saying: "May you live in interesting times." The thing about this saying is that it's considered a curse.
I think we may be in for some interesting times. Whether that will be a curse or not, only time will tell. Curse or not, it can't hurt if you use your reason and common sense as much as possible this year. Really. Do it.
And to do it right, you need your brain to be firing on all cylinders. So get some rest today; if need be, sober up.
As for using reason and common sense, once you're all clear-thinking, we'll be here to help, being big believers in using reason and common sense as much as possible.
So bring on 2013. Let's see where it takes us, interesting times or not.
