As these sorts of incidents continue, you have to wonder if the day will ever come when the Exchanges will at least question the wisdom of allowing not just high frequency trading (HFT), but all sorts of electronic trading. I realize this sounds Neanderthal, but you can understand why it makes sense to question this sort of activity.
